How to Apply
All applicants seeking admission to the Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Program must submit an application through PsychologyCAS. The application timeline is October through February for a Fall entry term.
Application requirements for the PsyD Program include:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States; official transcripts from all institutions attended must be submitted directly to PsychologyCAS.
- Required overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- An undergraduate major in psychology (preferred) or a minimum of 12 semester hours completed among psychology coursework prior to application.
- GRE scores optional, not required.
- Personal statement
- Resume/CV
- Three (3) letters of reference must be submitted to PsychologyCAS; ideally, these should be from a psychologist in academia, research, or clinical practice who has worked with the applicant. References from faculty members are also accepted.
- Qualified applicants with complete files and who meet or exceed the admissions criteria listed above may be invited to participate in a personal interview.
